International cricket is at standstill due COVID-19 pandemic and there are various speculation all around about the resumption of International Cricket. ICC has held a meeting on 23rd April via video conferencing with most of the cricket boards and also taken advice from the medical team about the correct time to resume International cricket, various scenarios were also discussed to conduct the ICC T20 World Cup down under.

The latest news doing rounds all around the world that Windies will tour England in early July and go ahead as per the earlier planned schedule. Conducting an international bilateral series at this moment in the middle of this pandemic is difficult, but it will be held behind close doors only for television purpose.

Windies Cricket Board has allowed the players to opt out of the series. It will be a hectic task to conduct the series but ECB is in full mood to conduct the series just for the sake of television. The players will have to undergo a 14 day quarantine period before the series and will have to undergo a routine Covid-19 test and then proceed further.

Well, compared to conducting a global ICC event the bilateral series conduction would be a lot easier as only two teams will be involved in a bilateral series.
