KP has his doubts on KOHLI
· Kevin pietersen
unsure of kohli scoring 100 centuries
Virat Kohli known as the King of Cricket has been piling up runs for
fun in the decade gone by be it Tests, ODIs or T20Is, he has been unmatchable
to any batsman in the cricketing world. He has some staggering numbers to prove
it as well. Apart from having such great numbers former England batsman Kevin
Pietersen is unsure of Kohli breaking a giant world record.
As of now, Virat has 27 Test centuries, 43
ODI Hundreds which adds Looking at his fitness and training regimes it is as
clear as a crystal that he has at least 6-7 years of cricket left in him.
Sachin Tendulkar who has played the game
for 24 years has the most 100 centuries to his name. After he scored that
historic 100 against Bangladesh he predicted Virat might be the one who can
break this mammoth record. There are contrasting views among the cricket
pundits all around the globe on this topic. In latest interview KP has his say.
KP quoted “It’s difficult because of injury and the longevity of
Tendulkar’s career.” He further added “Tendulkar
wasn’t as emotional when he was in the field and he did not carry the same sort
of aggressive attitude on the field. He was a lot more relaxed. It depends on
how long Virat Kohli continues to play”
KP feels injuries and workload will drag
back King from achieving this greatest feet. He also said “Remember,
Kohli plays all three forms of the game, plus he plays the IPL. For majority of
Sachin Tendulkar’s career, there was no T20 cricket and there was no IPL. So it
all depends on how long Kohli plays for”
Well, will King Kohli
score those remaining 30 centuries, is still a question mark, only time will be
able to answer till then everyone has to wait.
Recently, KING Kohli and Pietersen had a chat on insta live enjoy this…
