  • Suresh Raina makes a Request to BCCI
     During a recent Instagram Chat with Former Indian ALL-Rounder Irfan Pathan on 9th May Indian Batsman Suresh Raina appeals The Board Of Control For Cricket In India [BCCI] to allow non-contracted Indian Players to play Foreign leagues.
       Presently, none of the Indian players are allowed to participate in any of the foreign leagues because, BCCI dosen't issue NOC's to play in any Overseas leagues. Earlier some of the players as well has put their desire forward to participate in overseas leagues such as Big bash,CPL.
       Suresh Raina quoted '' I wish BCCI plans something with ICC or the Franchises, whichever player is not with a BCCI contract should be allowed to play in foreign T20 leagues. Because I feel there are a lot of Indian players like that such as Yusuf Pathan, myself, Robin Uthappa. There are many Quality players who can go abroad and learn a lot of things, whichever league that is in"
       He also added "If we play competitive cricket in three months, whether that's Big Bash or CPL anything that makes us feel we are ready. My suggestion is that all the players who nare 30 year old and not in radar to play international cricket, BCCI should allow them to play Foreign T20 leagues"

  • MSK Prasad has some regrets during his term as a Chief Selector
     Msk Prasad who's term as Indian Chief Selector has recently come to an end just before the India-South Africa ODI series has some regrets during his term. He reveals that " I feel that Karun Nair especially after getting that 300 in Chennai against England, didn't get much opportunities which is really heartbreaking to see" He also added " I also regret for Ambati Rayudu for not getting selected for 2019WC"
      Karun Nair who got the opportunity in the final couple of tests against England because of the injury to current Indian Test vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane, lost his spot in the team as soon as Rahane came back after injury,and didn't get much opportunities after that at the Test level and later got dropped from the 15 man squad.
      Ambati Rayudu who was in scheme of things for the No.4 spot before the ICC CWC 2019 was dropped from the squad, which was followed by a lot of hullabaloo about the the comments from MSK and Ambati Rayudu.

           UPCOMING ICC WORLD EVENTS   ·       ICC has announced the revised world     cup events….   I CC earlier announced the postponement of T20 World cup which was supposed to held down under later this year which means revising the world events calendar.   T here were three big world events to be played between 2020-2023 cycle but after the postponement of 2020 T20 world cup the revised calendar is as follows:   1.     2021 T20 World Cup- To be played in October-November 2021, final to be played on 14 th November 2021 and the venue is yet to be finalized by the ICC because originally it was supposed to hosted by India but postponing the 2020 T20 World Cup and Australian board wanting to host the event has created a dilemma which would be resolved in time to come…   2.      2022 T20 World Cup- Exactly a year later to 2021 T20 World cup, 2022 T20 World cup would be played in October- November, final to be played on 13 th November.             IPL ON ITS WAY….   ·       IPL to take place in uae which is going to kick start on 19 th September…   A fter ICC decided to postpone the T 20 world cup which was supposed to take place down under later this year in October-November, League [IPL]. The emerging host to conduct this mega event is considered to be UAE.   T here were sources of reports even before the the ICC’s announcement that conducting a mega event such as world cup with 16 teams was next to impossible in current crisis.
